Reducing the risk of damage to cars
You could be forgiven for thinking your home is most at risk during a storm, but there’s also a risk of damage to vehicles. We encourage you to:
Park your car in a safe space away from potential hazards (like falling trees/branches)
Move bins into a sheltered area, away from your car and weigh down if possible
Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary, but if you do need to drive, ensure you have an emergency kit in the car
